2. [Proposal] Secure Can Rebalance/Enhancement - in Assembly Hall [original thread]
Edited by: Valen Drax on 17/09/2008 20:25:17 I might not go that far. But gaining access to the ore would be good. The other benefit that I found was that if a LowSec or 0.0 mining op is taken out. Then the aggressors can get an extra prize. ...

3. [Proposal] Secure Can Rebalance/Enhancement - in Assembly Hall [original thread]
Then lets see. Here are my thoughts. Breaking into a secure can has three parts. 1) Time: Secure cans have a 5 minute hack time. For every rank past the first in hacking reduce that time by one minute. 2) Hacking a can makes the hacker blink re...

Edited by: Valen Drax on 16/09/2008 15:21:55 Originally by: DEATHsyphon Oh and High sec is already being made safer due to concord buff. And now you want secure mining cans with huge amounts of space....... Seriously EVE is a Harsh pla...

6. [Proposal] Secure Can Rebalance/Enhancement - in Assembly Hall [original thread]
So pretty much there would be no issue with Huge Secure Cans as long as they can be broken into some how. Ok, that is reasonable. The question is how long would it take to break into the can. And under what conditions. After all can't have them po...

7. [Proposal] Secure Can Rebalance/Enhancement - in Assembly Hall [original thread]
Well then with this insight, what might you suggest. The SecureCan suggestion was to help miners hold onto their goods. But that does put the thief completely out of business. Heck it is almost out of business as it stands. But what might make th...

8. [Balance] All time solo players in NPC Corp -> taxes! - in Assembly Hall [original thread]
I can agree that the NPC corp should have a negative effect for the privilege of staying out of corporate PvP. The issue is that some people just are not interested in PvP and the NPC corps fulfill that roll. Some people just like to hang out and ...

9. [Proposal] Secure Can Rebalance/Enhancement - in Assembly Hall [original thread]
True, I used the wrong term. But even this does not guarantee safety. If the player in in a player corp, they can still be war dec'd. If the player is not paying attention they can still be popped. Heck some one in a retriever can be easily suicid...

10. [Proposal] Secure Can Rebalance/Enhancement - in Assembly Hall [original thread]
I am not complaining. I have merely stated a fix to the original solution that did not work. And I accept that there are those that will dislike it because it closes off their mode of fun. As stated, if miners are happy to mine in high sec for pi...

11. [Proposal] Secure Can Rebalance/Enhancement - in Assembly Hall [original thread]
Jetcan mining came about as a byproduct of CCP giving the jet can a ludicrous 27,500m3 capacity. The intended cans could not compare and were relegated to obscurity. But ore thievery was becomming an issue in those days. CCP created the Secure ca...

12. [Proposal] Secure Can Rebalance/Enhancement - in Assembly Hall [original thread]
I do not believe that entitlement has anything really to do with it. Can flipping was a side effect of a faulty fix. Criminal flagging was a product of the insecure nature of things. The developers originally created the Secure Can to help stop or...

14. [issue] Planetary Flight - in Assembly Hall [original thread]
Planetary flight opens a large can of worms that I am not sure CCP wants to deal with. Admittedly, it would be cool, but the issue is once you have it what good is it? Ok, you can fly around a planet...ummm...ok. This is the can of worms, to make ...

15. POS, WarDecs, SecCans, and more thoughts. - in Assembly Hall [original thread]
Well, the only real reason I even thought about PD's is just that not every one has a missile launcher. Defenders only work if you have a launcher and the skills. If the defenders could be made to say get close then explode with a SmartBomb style ...

16. POS, WarDecs, SecCans, and more thoughts. - in Assembly Hall [original thread]
PD weapons, I am not sure the defender missiles can be "fixed". The reason is that the idea of two projectiles traveling at their own speeds hitting an intercept coarse, even if fudged, requires allot of processes to work out. That is probably why...

17. [ISSUE] - rigged ships transportation - in Assembly Hall [original thread]

20. Salvage Ship Idea - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
